Qingjing School
A branch of Quanzhen Dao, which reveres Sun Bu'er, one of the Seven Northern Perfect Ones, as its founding patriarch. Sun Bu'er, known by the Taoist title Qingjing Sanren (the Unrestrained One of Purity and Tranquility), was the wife of Ma Yu and a disciple of Wang Chongyang, the founder of Quanzhen Dao. She passed away in the 22nd year of the Dading era of the Jin Dynasty (1182). In the 6th year of the Zhiyuan era of Emperor Shizu of the Yuan Dynasty (1269), she was posthumously awarded the title "Qingjing Yuanzhen Shunde Zhenren" (True Person of Purity, Tranquility, Profoundness, Faithfulness, Obedience, and Virtue); in the 3rd year of the Zhida era of Emperor Wuzong (1310), she was further granted the title "Qingjing Yuanzhen Xuanxu Shunhua Yuanjun" (Lady of Purity, Tranquility, Profoundness, Faithfulness, Mystery, Emptiness, Obedience, and Transformation).

The General Register of All Perfect Ones' Sects, copied and collected by Beijing's Baiyun Temple in 1926, records the generation characters of this sect, but the details of its inheritance and activities remain unknown.
