Qiu Dongzhenzi (? - 1315) was a native of Zhuozhou in the early Yuan Dynasty (now part of Hebei Province).
As recorded in Annals of Xuzhou: He began to study Taoism in his prime. In the 27th year of the Zhiyuan era (1290), he traveled north to the imperial capital, where he paid a visit to the True Person Qi Zhicheng and was bestowed with the title "Master Baoyan".

After returning to the southeast, he toured Yishan Mountain and studied under the True Person Danyang, thus obtaining his Taoist title "Dongzhenzi".
When he traveled west to Dangshan Mountain, he met Zhao Zhijian, the magistrate of Yu Well County. Zhao appointed him as the supervisor of Juxian Taoist Temple (with his Taoist title "Dongzhenzi"), and he was also granted the title "Master Zhenjing". Additionally, he held the position of supervisor of the principal temple (of the same Taoist community).
He passed away in the 2nd year of the Yanyou era.
