The Qiu Yundi 邱允迪
Paul PengShare
Qiu Yundi (?–1064) was a native of Zhangzhou during the Northern Song Dynasty. Some records also refer to him as Qiu Yuandi.
In the third year of the Chengping period of the Song Dynasty (1000), he became a Taoist priest at Tianqing Guan (Tianqing Taoist Temple), and later traveled around the country.

During the Xiangfu period, he went to Longhu Mountain in Jiangxi Province, where he received the Zhengyi (Orthodox Unity) Taoist talismans from the Celestial Master Zhang (the hereditary leader of the Zhengyi School of Taoism).
In the sixth year of the Qingli period (1046), he made contributions to praying for rain and clear weather, and was thus conferred the title "Grand Master Chongyuan" (Grand Master of Surpassing Origin).
In the first year of the Zhiping period (1064), he passed away without suffering from any illness.
