Ren Guang was a native of Shangcai (now part of Henan Province) during the Han Dynasty.
Volume 3 of Li Shi Zhen Xian Ti Dao Tong Jian (Comprehensive Mirror of True Immortals Through the Ages Practicing Taoism) states that he possessed Taoist arts and was skilled in compounding elixirs. He usually sold medicines in the markets and alleys of cities and towns.

When he was eighty or ninety years old, his facial appearance remained as it was, which amazed everyone. Later, he lived on Baiti Mountain, and his ultimate fate is unknown.

Paul Peng is a Zhengyi Taoist priest from Longhu Mountain, Jiangxi — the ancestral home of the Celestial Masters' tradition. Ordained at 25 after a dream from the Celestial Master, he has practiced for 25 years under Master Zeng Guangliang. He is one of the curators of this store, which is officially authorized by Tianshi Fu. All items are consecrated at the temple by the resident priest team.
