The Shangqing Highest Jade Emperor's Divine Wisdom Jade Clarity Hidden Script for Subduing Demons
As an early classic of the Shangqing School (Higher Clarity School) of Taoism, it was roughly compiled during the Eastern Jin Dynasty.
Originally a part of The Dongzhen Jade Clarity Hidden Script Scripture, it was later separated to become an independent scroll and included in the "Zhengyi" (Orthodox Unity) section of the Daozang (Taoist Canon).
This scroll is divided into three chapters:

The first chapter is The Inner Text of the Engraved Stone Inscription from the Highest Jade Clarity. It contains a 170-character Taoist talismanic text (fuwen), all of which are the hidden names and sacred taboos of ghosts and divine beings. It is said that the Supreme Lord of Great Peace (Taiping Daojun) engraved this hidden text on the chambers of ghosts and gods in Fengdu Mountain. Practitioners who write and wear this hidden text in accordance with the prescribed method can control ghosts and regulate divine beings.

The second chapter is The Supreme Method for Subduing Demons and Eliminating Ghosts. It records five "Jade Texts for Eliminating Ghosts" (incantations), which are said to have been bestowed by the Highest Jade Emperor (Gaoshang Yudi) upon the five Chief Officers for Eliminating Ghosts. Practitioners who visualize divine beings, chant the incantations, and write the Jade Texts in accordance with the method can control all demons and wipe out various evil forces.

The third chapter is The Supreme Method of Divine Wisdom for Expelling Evil Spirits from the Nine Heavens. It contains two incantation formulas: one is "The Divine Incantation of the Jade Emperor of the Nine Heavens," and the other is "The Supreme Method of the Jade Emperor for Cursing Ghosts and Protecting the Spirit."It is said that when Taoist priests travel at night or stay alone, if they encounter an attack by demons or ghosts, they can recite these two incantations to summon divine soldiers for protection, expel evil spirits, and subdue demons.
