Shangqing Scripture on the Supreme Method of Transforming Form, Concealing Visage, Ascending, and Protecting Immortality (Shangqing Huaxing Yinjing Dengsheng Baoxian Shangjing), an early classic of the Shangqing School, was probably compiled during the Southern and Northern Dynasties. It consists of one scroll and is included in the Zhengyi Bu (Orthodox Oneness Section) of the Daozang (Taoist Canon).

Also known as Scripture on the Supreme Method of Transforming Form, Concealing Visage, Ascending, and Protecting Immortality (Huaxing Yinjing Dengsheng Baoxian Shangjing), this text focuses on the method of preserving the spirit and concealing the physical form. The method requires entering a ritual room on the eight solar terms, contemplating the divine beings of the Nine Stars of the Big Dipper—the "Nine Subtle Emperor Lords" (Jiuwei Dijun) and the "Hidden Consorts of the Nine Star Emperor Lords, the Nine Yins" (Jiuxing Dijun Yinfei Jiuyin)—and silently reciting their true names (zhenhui).
It is stated that practicing this method enables one to transform their form, conceal their visage, and ascend to the Jade Purity Realm (Yuqing).
This method originates from Shangqing Jiuzhen Zhongjing (The Middle Scripture of the Nine Trues of Shangqing). Its content has already been quoted in Volume 18 of Wushang Miyao (The Supreme Secret Essentials).
