The Shangqing Qusu Formulae and Verses Talismans
The Shangqing Qusu Formulae and Verses Talismans (Shangqing Qusu Jueci Lu) is an early classic of the Shangqing School, presumably compiled during the Eastern Jin and Northern and Southern Dynasties (317–589 CE).

It consists of one scroll and is included in the Zhengyi (Orthodox Unity) Section of the Daozang (Taoist Canon).
This text contains six types of talismans: The Qusu Formulae and Verses Talismans by the Left True Person of the Taiji, The Shangqing Huoluo Seven Primordials Talismans, The Shangqing Ten Heavens Dragon-Summoning Talismans, The Shangqing Eight Powers Dragon-Summoning Talismans, The Shangqing Great Mystery River Chart Nine Stars Talismans, and The Shangqing Purple-Patterned Sash Talismans. All these six types of talismans originate from early Shangqing School classics and were used to summon deities and subdue demons.
Volume 5 of Sandong Fengdao Kejie Yifan (The Ritual Norms and Precepts for Upholding the Dao in the Three Grottoes) has already recorded the above-mentioned talismans; therefore, this text is believed to have been compiled by Taoist priests of the Shangqing School during the Northern and Southern Dynasties.
