The Shen Xinging 沈心阱

Shen Xinging was a native of Shanghai during the Qing Dynasty.
His courtesy name was Xunru, and his art name was Gutian.

He practiced asceticism at Shanghai Yue Temple (Yue Temple in Shanghai). Moxiang Ju Huashi (Records of Paintings from the Ink Fragrance Studio) states: Xinging was skilled in color painting, and was particularly renowned for his paintings of orchids, bamboos, and flowers, with a distinctive style.
