The Wonderful Scripture of the Primordial Heavenly Venerable for Pacifying and Guarding the Dragon Spirits of the Nine Barriers
The author of this scripture is unknown, and it is believed to have originated during the Tang or Song dynasties.
It consists of one scroll and is included in the Taoist Canon, under the category of "Original Texts" in the Cave Truth Division.

The scripture purports to be the Primordial Heavenly Venerable expounding the methods of pacifying residences to a Perfected One.
It states that after sentient beings build or renovate their dwellings, they frequently encounter misfortunes and disasters, all due to disturbing dragon spirits or violating evil fiends. The Heavenly Venerable thus composed twenty-two verses of the "Void Sound". It is said that reciting this scripture will naturally eliminate all evils, drive away illnesses, and bring about lightness and good health of the body. If one recites this scripture three to a hundred times when breaking ground for house construction, yin and yang will be harmonized, and family members will be safe and sound.
