The Ritual of the Dongyuan Divine Incantation Fast of the Supreme Lord (Provisional Title)
This text is Dunhuang manuscript No. Chongzi 83. The original manuscript is incomplete at the beginning and end and has no title.
Shinji Obuchi, in his A Catalogue of Dunhuang Taoist Texts, proposed the title The Ritual of the Dongyuan Divine Incantation Fast based on its content.

The Divine Incantation Fast was an important early Taoist sacrificial ritual, mainly for praying for blessings, warding off disasters, and expelling demons on behalf of all sentient beings.
The surviving parts of the manuscript include rituals such as presenting memorials and prayers, paying homage to the ten directions, reciting verses and chanting the "Buxu" (Void-Stepping) hymns, repenting and introspecting.
Some of its content can also be found in The Ritual of Repentance and Atonement of the Samadhi Divine Incantation Fast of Dongyuan of the Supreme Lord, which was revised and finalized by Du Guangting. However, this manuscript was copied in the early Tang Dynasty, earlier than Du Guangting’s time.
Catalogue of Lost Scriptures in the Daozang records a one-volume text titled The Ritual of Transmitting the Dongyuan Divine Incantation by the Supreme Lord, but it is unknown whether this refers to the present text.
