The Tai Shang Tian Zun Shuo Yan Shou Miao Jing 太上灵宝天尊说延寿妙经

It was presumably a work of Taoist priests during the Tang and Song dynasties.

It is included in the Text Category of the Cave Mysterious Section of the Daoist Canon.

The scripture proclaims that the Numinous Treasure Heavenly Venerable of Extending Life expounded The Wonderful Scripture of Extending Life and discoursed on the Great Dao of Emptiness to various immortals under the Precious Forest Tree on Golden Light Mountain. It states that all dharmic forms are void. If men and women in the mortal world wish to prolong their lives, eliminate disasters, and gather blessings, they should burn incense to practice the Dao, engage in almsgiving and release living beings, perform meritorious deeds, support Taoist priests, and lecture on and recite the sacred scriptures. In this way, the divine kings will record their merits and virtues and submit them to the celestial realms, ensuring them abundant wealth and eternal peace and tranquility.
