Taiping Section

The second section of the Four Assistants in the classification system of Taoist scriptures, serving as a supplement to the Dongxuan Section.

According to Volume 6 of Yunji Qiqian (Seven Tablets in a Cloudy Satchel), the Taiping Section takes "Sanyi (Three in One)" as its core tenet. Its content discusses "prosperous governance, the cultivation of causes for attaining fruition, and various taboos and techniques", which is sufficient to quell great chaos with noble merits and integrity, hence the name "Taiping" (Peace). The Taiping Section in the existing version of the Daozang (Taoist Canon) mainly collects the Taiping Jing (Scripture of Great Peace).
