The Supreme Mysterious Section 太玄部

Paul Peng
The Supreme Mysterious Section is the first of the Four Supplements in the Taoist scripture classification system, serving as a complement to the Profound True Section.

According to The Pivots of Taoist Meaning and Volume Six of The Seven Bamboo Tablets of the Cloudy Satchel, the Supreme Mysterious Section takes "double profundity" as its guiding principle and Tao Te Ching as its foundation.
The texts collected in the Supreme Mysterious Section of the Daozang are mainly the works of Taoist philosophers and philosophical treatises.
