The Tan Qiaoyan 谭峭岩
Paul PengShare
Tan Qiaoyan was a Taoist priest of Mount Mao in the late Tang Dynasty.
He performed hidden virtues to help all living beings: he often left gold on the road to relieve the poor and needy.
At times, he used Taoist talismans to expel ghosts and cure illnesses for people.

He passed away at Mount Heng (the Southern Great Mountain) during the Kaicheng era of Emperor Wenzong of the Tang Dynasty (836–840).
