The Tan Sixian 谭嗣先

Tan Sixian was a native of Danyang (now part of Jiangsu Province) during the Zhengtong reign of the Ming Dynasty. He styled himself Daolin and served as a Taoist priest at Qingyuan Guan (Qingyuan Taoist Temple). He engraved and produced The Biography of Immortal Ge of the Taiji, a one-volume work that was included in the "Dongxuan Bu (Section of Mysterious Caverns)" under the category of "Pul Lu Lei (Genealogy and Record)" in the Taoist Canon (Daozang).
