Paul PengShare
Tao Zhi (? - 825 AD) was a figure of the mid-Tang Dynasty (some sources also claim he lived during the late Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties period). He was also known as Tao Zhi (with "Zhi" written as 埴,meaning "clay" in Chinese).

He authored several works, including Tongzhen Lun (Treatise on Attaining Truth), Huanjin Shu (The Art of Returning to Gold), Huanjin Dan Jue (Secret Instructions on the Golden Elixir of Return), and Tao Zhenren Neidan Fu (Ode to Inner Alchemy by True Person Tao).
