Zhengyi Home Blessing Rite to Ward Off Misfortune 正一醮宅仪
The author is unknown. It was likely compiled during the Southern and Northern Dynasties or the Sui-Tang period.
Consisting of one scroll, it is included in the category of Ritual Texts in the Dongshen Section (the Section of Cave Spirits) of theDaoist Canon.

This text describes the ritual in which Zhengyi Taoist priests offer sacrifices for households on behalf of laypeople to pray for blessings and dispel disasters.
It states that if a family encounters misfortunes such as financial depletion, death or loss of cattle and horses, failure of farmland and sericulture, affliction of family members, outbreak of seasonal pestilences, disturbances caused by dogs, rats, insects and ants, or dissipation of wealth and profits, they should invite Taoist priests to perform the household sacrifice ritual on an auspicious day (Wangxiangday). By doing so, misfortunes can be turned into good fortune. The ritual procedures include preparing ritual implements, offering food and burning incense, presenting tea, and offering wine.
