Anonymous author. It appears to have been compiled between the Tang and Song dynasties.

Consisting of one scroll, it is included inThe Daozang(Taoist Canon), under the Memorial Category of theDongshen Section.
This book compiles several memorials and petitions used in Taoist fasts and sacrificial rituals. Its content mainly consists of submitting memorials to deities including the Green Mysterious Lord of the Eastern Pole, the Taiyi Savior of Suffering, the Celestial Master, the Five Emperors, and the Three Officials of Heaven, Earth and Water, praying for the alleviation of sufferings, repentance of sins, and the transcendence of the deceased into heaven.

Paul Peng is a Zhengyi Taoist priest from Longhu Mountain, Jiangxi — the ancestral home of the Celestial Masters' tradition. Ordained at 25 after a dream from the Celestial Master, he has practiced for 25 years under Master Zeng Guangliang. He is one of the curators of this store, which is officially authorized by Tianshi Fu. All items are consecrated at the temple by the resident priest team.
