Tian Qingzhi lived during the Zhiyuan era of the Yuan Dynasty.
He was a "Dafashi" (Grand Dharma Master) of Longyang Palace in Fangshan under the Zhen dadao School (True Great Dao School, a major Taoist school in the Yuan Dynasty), and was officially appointed as "Daolu" (Chief Taoist Administrator) of Lin’an Prefecture.
