The Tian Zhiming 田志明
Paul PengShare
Tian Zhiming was a native of Xiaoxian County, Xuzhou Prefecture in the early Yuan Dynasty. His courtesy name was Yanmei, and his Taoist title was Ningzhenzi (Master of Peaceful Truth).
From a young age, he was bright, perceptive, and eager to learn, and he did not enjoy staying at home.

He became a Taoist priest, built a thatched hut to live in his hometown, and devoted himself to rigorous practice while living on simple food—people at that time held him in high esteem. He loved traveling through mountains and rivers, and later went from Guanggu to Qingting in Jinan, where he resided at Dongzhen Taoist Temple at the foot of Wufeng Mountain.
From then on, the number of people who came to study Taoism under him increased day by day.
