Twelve Categories
A classification system for Taoist scriptures.
Each of the Three Caves is further divided into twelve categories, totaling thirty-six parts.

The twelve categories are: 1. Benwen (Scriptural Texts), 2. Shenfu (Divine Talismans), 3. Yujue (Jade Commentaries), 4. Lingtu (Spiritual Diagrams), 5. Pulu (Genealogies and Records), 6. Jielü (Precepts), 7. Weiyi (Etiquette and Ceremonies), 8. Fangfa (Methods), 9. Zhongshu (Various Arts), 10. Jizhuan (Records and Biographies), 11. Zansong (Eulogies and Hymns), 12. Zhangbiao (Memorials and Petitions).

Paul Peng is a Zhengyi Taoist priest from Longhu Mountain, Jiangxi — the ancestral home of the Celestial Masters' tradition.
