Wang Daoming was a figure in the early Yuan Dynasty.
He was conferred the title of "Zhichang Shengde Dashi" (Master of Steady Knowledge and Abundant Virtue) and held the position of "Tiandian" (an official in charge of temple affairs) overseeing the Yuxian Palace in Ganhe Town at Zhongnan Mountain.

In the 20th year of the Zhiyuan era (1284), he wrote the preface for Neizhuan of Xianzhen at the Ancestral Courtyard of Zhongnan Mountain (a text recording the lives of Taoist immortals and virtuous figures at the Taoist ancestral site of Zhongnan Mountain).
