Wang Lian was a native of Wuxi, Jiangsu Province during the Jiaqing and Daoguang reigns of the Qing Dynasty (1796-1850).

Qingwei Daoren and Yujing Daoren.

She became a Taoist nun at an early age and was officially registered as a female Taoist priest at Fuhui Shuangxiu An (Nunnery of Dual Cultivation of Blessing and Wisdom).

She was skilled in poetry, prose, and ci lyrics, proficient in music temperament, and adept at regular script calligraphy.

As recorded in Qinghua Lu (Record of Qing Dynasty Paintings) and Jianwen Suibi (Random Notes on What Was Seen and Heard), Wang Lian excelled in painting; her paintings of orchids and bamboos featured a sparse, bright, and unrestrained style with elegant charm and spirit, making her famous within the Taoist community.

Paul Peng is a Zhengyi Taoist priest from Longhu Mountain, Jiangxi — the ancestral home of the Celestial Masters' tradition. Ordained at 25 after a dream from the Celestial Master, he has practiced for 25 years under Master Zeng Guangliang. He is one of the curators of this store, which is officially authorized by Tianshi Fu. All items are consecrated at the temple by the resident priest team.
