The Wang Ruoshi 王若时

Paul Peng
Wang Ruoshi was a Taoist priest of Longhu Mountain in Jiangxi Province during the early Southern Song Dynasty.

He studied under Wang Jianyi. Later, he accompanied Wang Jianyi to the imperial court, where he was granted an official certificate (for Taoist ordination) by the emperor in person and formally ordained as a Taoist priest. Subsequently, he was conferred the title "Chongyin Dashi" (Great Master of Profound Seclusion) by imperial decree and later lived in seclusion on Hengshan Mountain (also known as Hengyue, one of China’s Five Great Mountains).
