The Wonderful Scripture of the Heavenly Venerable Preaching to All Beings on Rescuing the Living and the Dead from the Three Paths and Five Torments, Enabling Rebirth and Delivering Them from Hell

It was probably composed around the late Northern and Southern Dynasties or the transition period between the Sui and Tang dynasties.

There is one fragmentary manuscript from Dunhuang (P2348), preserving approximately 215 lines of the scripture.

Its content and wording are basically the same as The Wonderful Scripture of Rebirth and Saving the Suffering in the Cavern Mysterious and Numinous Treasure Scripture, which is included in the Original Text Category of the Cavern Mysterious Section in the Taoist Canon. It should be regarded as the same text with a different title.
