Paul PengShare
Wang Xuzheng was a Taoist priest during the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty.

When Emperor Xuanzong compiled Annotations on the Dao De Jing, Wang Xuzheng participated in the discussion, compilation and revision of the work, and wrote annotations for it. The result of this effort was Imperially Compiled Annotations on the Dao De Jing, a ten-volume work that was included in the Yujue (Jade Commentaries) category of the Dongshen (Spiritual Grotto) section in the Taoist Canon (Daozang).
