The Wang Yihao 王一浩

Wang Yihao was a figure of the Ming Dynasty.

He was a Taoist priest of the Longmen (Dragon Gate) School and a close friend of Zhang Sanfeng.

As recorded in Volume 1 of Changchunguan Zhi (Gazetteer of Changchun Temple): "He devoted himself wholeheartedly to Taoist studies, excelled in connoisseurship, had a passion for calligraphy and painting, and was skilled in the art of Neidan (Internal Alchemy)."

He enjoyed traveling around, and once painted 800 scrolls of "Famous Mountains". Later, he compiled Sancai Tuhui (Compendium of Diagrams of the Three Powers), which consists of 106 volumes in total. This work collects and organizes diagrams from various books into a single compilation, divided into 14 categories: Astronomy, Geography, Figures, Seasons, Palaces & Rooms, Utensils, Human Body, Clothing, Human Affairs, Ritual Systems, Treasures, Literature & History, Birds & Beasts, and Plants. It is extensive in its collection and sufficient for research and textual authentication.

Among these volumes, the four volumes on Astronomy and the eight volumes of "Famous Mountains" were all written and painted by Wang Yihao himself.
