Wang Yuan, styled Fangping, was a native of Donghai (present-day Yanzhou, Shandong Province) during the Eastern Han Dynasty. According to records in Volume 5 of The Comprehensive Mirror of True Immortals Through the Ages Who Embodied the Dao and Finest Literary Works, he held the official position of Zhongsan Dafu (a high-ranking court official).

He was well-versed in the Five Classics and also proficient in various studies such as astronomy, divinatory texts, and heluo divination. After studying Taoism, he could foresee the rise and fall of the world. During the reign of Emperor Huan of the Han Dynasty, he was repeatedly summoned but refused to take office.

Paul Peng is a Zhengyi Taoist priest from Longhu Mountain, Jiangxi — the ancestral home of the Celestial Masters' tradition. Ordained at 25 after a dream from the Celestial Master, he has practiced for 25 years under Master Zeng Guangliang. He is one of the curators of this store, which is officially authorized by Tianshi Fu. All items are consecrated at the temple by the resident priest team.
