The Jade Instructions for Summoning Immortals through the Five Emperors' Offerings in the Supreme Cavern Mysterious Numinous Treasure Scripture was originally unsigned.
According to the postscript at the end of the scroll, it should have been written by Zhang Chengxian, a Taoist priest of the Northern Song Dynasty.
This book, in one scroll, was already cataloged in Tongzhi·Bibliographical Survey of Arts and Literature.

The existing version is included in the Jade Instructions category of the Cavern Mysterious Section in Daozang (the Taoist Canon).
The book claims that on the day a Taoist receives the Numinous Treasure Five Elders' Red Script True Text, they shall perform offerings in accordance with the rituals to summon celestial immortals. Thereafter, an offering shall be held once every three years, and cease after three such ceremonies.
This text is exactly the ritual method for offerings and immortal-summoning compiled by Zhang Chengxian. It details the procedures for summoning the spiritual officials of the Numinous Treasure Five Emperors and invoking divine beings to serve as guardians and protectors of the body.
