Wu Jichuan (? - 1373)

Wu Jichuan was a native of Jiujì in Dehua (now part of Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province) in the early Yuan Dynasty.

In the 10th year of the Zhizheng era (1350), he went to Longhu Mountain in Jiangxi Province and studied Taoist doctrines and practices under the Celestial Master Zhang of the Zhengyi School. Later, he lived in seclusion in Jinyi Cave, devoting himself to Taoist spiritual cultivation and refining his character. He only drank a small cup of water every day.

He passed away in October of the 6th year of the Hongwu era of the Ming Dynasty (1373).
