The Xiang Daorong 向道荣
Paul PengShare
Xiang Daorong was a Taoist practitioner during the Mid-Tang Dynasty.
He was simple and unadorned in character. He became a Taoist monk in his youth and studied under Shu Xuji, from whom he inherited the Supreme Method of the Zhenyuan Ce Spiritual Talismans and Registers—this earned him fame in the Shu Prefecture (an ancient administrative region mainly covering present-day Sichuan Province).
