The Scripture of Dispelling and Averting Fire Disasters of the Supreme Cave Mysterious Numinous Treasure
The author and the era of composition of this scripture are unknown.

This scripture is a text for warding off fire disasters: it states that fire and conflagration disasters are heavenly warnings to foolish people. Anyone who shows disrespect to heaven, earth, and the three luminaries (sun, moon, stars), is disloyal and unfilial, oppresses the common people, or amasses wealth through violent and unjust means will be subject to “heavenly punishment decreed by divine report and delivered by the Fire Ministry”. If evildoers can reform their ways, do good deeds, and believe in the teachings of this scripture, reciting its incantations on the day of a disaster will allow them to expiate their sins and ensure their safety.
At the end of the text, there is a four-character incantation and a five-character verse.
