The Xihe School 西河派

The Xihe School, a branch of the Shenxiao School of Thunder Methods.

Also known as the Sage Lord Sa's Xihe School. During the Northern Song Dynasty, Sa Shoujian received the transmission of Thunder Methods from Zhang Jixian, Lin Lingsu, and Wang Wenqing. He resided in Quanzhou and became famous for his Taoist arts, with hundreds of disciples studying under him, thus forming the Xihe School. According to General Register of Various True Sects, the generational characters of its transmission are as follows: 守 (Shou), 道 (Dao), 明 (Ming), 仁 (Ren), 德 (De), 全 (Quan), 真 (Zhen), 复 (Fu), 太 (Tai), 和 (He), 志 (Zhi), 诚 (Cheng), 宣 (Xuan), 玉 (Yu), 典 (Dian), 中 (Zhong), 正 (Zheng), 演 (Yan), 金 (Jin), 科 (Ke), 冲 (Chong), 汉 (Han), 通 (Tong), 圆 (Yuan), 满 (Man), 高 (Gao), 宗 (Zong), 居 (Ju), 大 (Da), 罗 (Luo), 武 (Wu), 当 (Dang), 兴 (Xing), 法 (Fa), 派 (Pai), 福 (Fu), 海 (Hai), 起 (Qi), 洪 (Hong), 波 (Bo).
