The Xu Yangying 徐阳盈

Xu Yangying (1734-1802) was a native of Taizhou, Jiangsu Province during the Qianlong and Jiaqing reigns of the Qing Dynasty. His courtesy name was Yingxian and his literary name was Genyun.

As recorded in Jingai Xinyu (The Heart and Words of Jingai), he embraced Taoism in his childhood. He was upright and respectful, kind yet resolute.
In the third year of the Jiaqing reign (1798), he first came to Mount Jingai, where he received the Chuzhen Precepts (the initial precepts for new Taoists). Whenever he had free time, he would recite the Sanyuan Jing (The Three Origins Scripture) with unwavering diligence. He passed away in the seventh year of the Jiaqing reign at the age of 69.

Ordained at 25 after a dream from the Celestial Master, he has practiced for 25 years under Master Zeng Guangliang. He is one of the curators of this store, which is officially authorized by Tianshi Fu. All items are consecrated at the temple by the resident priest team.
