The Xuan Yuan Miming 轩辕弥明
Paul PengShare
Xuan Yuan Miming was a figure active during the Yuanhe era of Emperor Xianzong of the Tang Dynasty (806–820 AD).
He was officially registered as a Taoist priest of Mount Heng.

Highly skilled in Taoist practices, he could capture ghosts and spirits, and chain up jiaochi (mythical dragon-like creatures), tigers, and leopards.
He was particularly proficient in writing poetry and prose, and his words were astonishing. Han Yu (a renowned Tang Dynasty literati) referred to him as a "recluse gentleman" (a term for a virtuous person who lives in seclusion, away from officialdom).
