The Xuansu 玄俗
Paul PengXuansu was a native of Hejian (now part of Hebei Province) during the Eastern Han Dynasty.
According to Volume 3 of The Comprehensive Mirror of True Immortals Through the Ages Who Embodied the Dao and Supplementary Collection of Poetry Annals, he regularly took croton and yunying (a kind of celestial herb in legends) as medicines, practicing the art of bigu (abstention from grains).
He usually sold medicines in the market and was able to cure all kinds of diseases.
