Xue Dongzhen was a native of Guixi (now part of Jiangxi Province), who lived from the late Northern Song Dynasty to the early Southern Song Dynasty. His courtesy name was Yuanfu. He studied under Wang Jianyi and received the transmission of Daoist teachings and practices.
During the Shaoxing period (1131–1162), he served as the administrator of Qizhen Taoist Temple. He helped people with Daoist talismans and medicinal remedies, and saved the lives of many.

Paul Peng is a Zhengyi Taoist priest from Longhu Mountain, Jiangxi — the ancestral home of the Celestial Masters' tradition. Ordained at 25 after a dream from the Celestial Master, he has practiced for 25 years under Master Zeng Guangliang. He is one of the curators of this store, which is officially authorized by Tianshi Fu. All items are consecrated at the temple by the resident priest team.
