Yang Zhizhi was a figure of the Southern Song Dynasty. He was known by his literary name "Mr. Wuzhai" and served as a Taoist priest at Gezao Mountain.
Emperor Lizong of the Song Dynasty issued an imperial edict to confer upon him the title "Virtuous Scholar of the Taoist Tradition" and appointed him to oversee Taoist affairs.

His work, Collected Writings of Mr. Wuzhai, in two volumes, was passed down and circulated in the world.
