The Yao Laicun 姚来存

Yao Laicun, a native of Menghua, Yunnan during the Republic of China period.
She was commonly known as Sister Cun among people of her time.

Her husband died in the War to Protect the Republic Against Yuan Shikai. Having no children, she became a Taoist nun at Bao'en Hall and practiced Taoism quietly, raising funds through alms from all directions.
In the 12th year of the Republic of China (1924), she renovated Bao'en Hall and Ganlu Pavilion. She passed away before 1949.
