Yin Daoquan (?–307, alternatively said to have died in 313) was a native of Tianshui (present-day part of Gansu) at the end of the Western Jin Dynasty.
According to Records of Mount Heng and Volume 33 of Lishi Zhenxian Tidao Tongjian (Comprehensive Mirror of True Immortals Through the Ages Who Embodied the Dao), he lived in seclusion on the rear peak of Hengyue Temple, practicing the Dao of "Dongzhen Huan shen Cheshi" (the true way of returning the spirit and perceiving thoroughly), and also wore the Five Emperors' Six Jia Left and Right Lingfei Talismans. Later, he encountered a divine being who imparted to him the True Form Diagram of the Five Sacred Mountains, and he became spiritually connected with the twelve matters related to Lingfei.

In the first year of the Yongjia era of the Jin Dynasty (307, alternatively said to be the seventh year), he achieved perfection in his cultivation and ascended to immortality. In the first year of the Chonghe era of the Song Dynasty (1118), Emperor Huizong bestowed upon him the title "Tongzhen Guanchao Zhenren" (True Person of Penetrating Truth and Observing Subtlety).
