The Wonderful Scripture of Nourishing All Beings, Spoken by the Supreme Master of the Three Heavens has no recorded author and was probably compiled during the Northern and Southern Dynasties.
It is a one-volume text included in the Zheng Yi Bu (Orthodox Unity Section) of the Daozang (Taoist Canon).

This scripture is purportedly imparted by the Celestial Master to Cheng Fadao, a Taoist priest of Lingtai Mountain in Langzhou.
The text proclaims that the kalpa is drawing to an end, and countless hungry ghosts will emerge into the world—devouring people’s grains, feeding on human flesh and blood, and reducing people to emaciation and death. Out of compassion for all living beings, the Celestial Master revealed this scripture and ordered Cheng Fadao to disseminate it among the people.
Whoever transcribes and enshrines this scripture to accumulate abundant merits, or invites Taoist priests to establish a ritual altar, hold vegetarian feasts and perform repentance ceremonies shall receive blessings: the Celestial Master will instruct the True Immortals Wang Chang and Zhao Sheng at his side to wield the Supreme Divine Talismans, eradicate all ghostly evils, and ensure that every household enjoys peace, an abundance of food and drink, bumper harvests of farm crops and silkworms, as well as thriving livestock of all five kinds.
The book contains one five-character eulogistic incantation composed by the Celestial Master and one Supreme Celestial Master Divine Talisman.
