Yu Yuanji was a Taoist priest of Tiantai Mountain during the Jiayou era of the Northern Song Dynasty.

He resided at Tianqing Guan (Tianqing Taoist Temple). Due to his chronic madness, most people loathed him. Only Xu Shouxin, a servant at the temple, treated him kindly and respectfully. In return, Yu Yuanji taught Xu all his Taoist arts. Later, Xu Shouxin became known as "Shen Weng" (Divine Elder).

He is one of the curators of this store, which is officially authorized by Tianshi Fu. All items are consecrated at the temple by the resident priest team.
