The Yuanming LaoRen 圆明老人

Paul Peng
Yuanming LaoRen (Venerable Yuanming) was a figure who lived during the Jin and Yuan dynasties and a Taoist priest of the Quanzhen School.

According to one theory, he is suspected to be Gao Yuanming, a second-generation disciple of Ma Yu (one of the core masters of the Quanzhen School).

He authored The Three Essentials of Advanced Cultivation for Immortality (a one-volume work), which elaborates on the doctrines of the Quanzhen School.
