Yuezichang was a figure who lived during the Qin and Han dynasties.
Volume 34 of Lishi Zhenxian Tidao Tongjian (Comprehensive Mirror of True Immortals Through the Ages Who Embodied the Dao) states that he was fond of Daoist methods from a young age. When he reached Huolin, he encountered the immortal Han Zhong, who taught him the Lingbao talismans and the Jusheng Chisan Powder. He then entered Qianshan Mountain to practice the techniques of breathing exercises and abstinence from grains.
In Taoism, he is known as True Lord of Qianshan.
