Yuxian Pai (School of Encountering Immortals)
A branch of Quanzhen Daoism. It reveres Ma Yu, one of the Seven Northern True Ones, as its founding patriarch. Ma Yu, styled Xuanbao and known by the Taoist name Danyang, was a disciple of Wang Chongyang, the founder of Quanzhen Daoism. He passed away in the 23rd year of the Dading era of the Jin Dynasty (1183). In the 6th year of the Zhiyuan era of Emperor Shizu of the Yuan Dynasty (1269), he was posthumously awarded the title "Danyang Baoyi Wuwei Zhenren" (True Man Danyang of Embracing Unity and Non-Action). In the 3rd year of the Zhida era of Emperor Wuzong of the Yuan Dynasty (1310), he was further granted the title "Danyang Baoyi Wuwei Puhua Zhenjun" (True Lord Danyang of Embracing Unity, Non-Action, and Universal Transformation).

The "General Register of Various True Lineages" copied and stored in the White Cloud Temple in Beijing in 1926 records the generational characters used for the transmission of this school, proving that the school still had a lineage up to that time. However, details about its inheritance and activities remain unknown.
