Zhang Daowen was a native of Jingzhao (now part of Shaanxi Province) during the Jin and Yuan dynasties, and people of his time called him "Immortal Elder Zhang".

He resided at Xiuzhen Guan (Xiuzhen Taoist Temple) in Xishangding Community of Zezhou. When he traveled eastward to a sea island, he met Liu Changsheng, from whom he received the secret transmission of profound Taoist methods. Later, he returned to Zezhou, built a thatched hut within Xiuzhen Guan, and practiced Taoism there.

Paul Peng is a Zhengyi Taoist priest from Longhu Mountain, Jiangxi — the ancestral home of the Celestial Masters' tradition. Ordained at 25 after a dream from the Celestial Master, he has practiced for 25 years under Master Zeng Guangliang. He is one of the curators of this store, which is officially authorized by Tianshi Fu. All items are consecrated at the temple by the resident priest team.
