Zhang Heng (?-179), styled Lingzhen, also Ziping, was a native of Feng in Peiguo (present-day Feng County, Jiangsu Province).

He was the son of Zhang Ling, the founder of the Zhengyi School of Taoism. He inherited his father's career, practiced Taoist arts, and passed down the Five Pecks of Rice Taoism.
In Taoism, he is called "Successor Master". It is said that he attained the Tao and ascended to heaven in the second year of the Guanghe era of Emperor Ling of the Han Dynasty. (From Genealogy of the Han Heavenly Masters)
