The Zhang Jingzhen 张景真

Zhang Jingzhen was a native of Funing during the Ming Dynasty.
He became a Taoist priest at Zhenqing Temple. During the Zhengde reign period (1506–1521), he led the Daohui Division (an administrative agency managing Taoist affairs) to the capital. Due to the remarkable effects of his Taoist talismans, he was conferred the title of "Zhenren" (True Person, a honorific title for accomplished Taoists).
