The Zhang Qianyao 张乾曜
Paul PengShare
His courtesy name was Yuanguang, and he was the eldest son of Zhang Zhengsui.

Emperor Renzong of the Northern Song Dynasty summoned him to the imperial court. When the emperor consulted him on Taoist doctrines, Zhang’s responses fully met the emperor’s expectations. Due to his upright and tranquil demeanor, taciturn nature, and dedicated inner cultivation of the Tao, he was conferred the title "Mr. Chengsu" (Mr. Clear and Pure).
He lived to the age of 85.
In the 13th year of the Zhizheng period of the Yuan Dynasty (1353), he was posthumously awarded the honorific title "Chongxuan Pujiji Zhanji Zhenjun" (True Lord of Venerating Mystery, Universal Salvation, and Profound Tranquility).
