The Zhang Renbiao 张仁表
Paul PengShare
Zhang Renbiao was a figure of the Tang Dynasty.
He held the position of Zuojie Daoshi (a senior Taoist priest officiating at the left altar of the imperial court, a prominent Taoist official role in the Tang Dynasty).

He was erudite and versatile. When delivering lectures and discussions in the imperial inner hall, his words were sharp-witted and articulate, and no one could outmatch him. In his daily scripture lectures, he urged people to frequently recite the name of Taiyi Jiuku Tianzun (the Supreme Lord of Great Oneness Who Saves from Suffering, a major deity in Taoism), and this practice was quite effective in manifesting spiritual responses.
